Thoth

Thoth
Greek name for the Egyptian god Djehuty. He is depicted in the form of an ibis-headed human with a moon’s disk on his head. His principal seat of worship was Hermopolis, and the ibis and baboon were sacred to him. He was worshipped throughout Egypt as the god of scribal arts who wrote the judgement of Osiris at the weighing of the heart.
